个人简介：朱熹平，中山大学数学学院教授。1998年度国家杰出青年科学基金获得者；2001年至2006年被聘为教育部长江学者奖励计划特聘教授；分别于2002年和2013年为全国百篇优秀博士学位论文指导教师；分别于2004年和2016年获ICCM（世界华人数学家大会）的晨兴数学银奖和陈省身奖；2013年度教育部高等学校自然科学奖一等奖的第一完成人；2015年度国家自然科学基金创新研究群体项目学术带头人；2016年度国家自然科学奖二等奖项目“Ricci流理论及其几何应用”的第一完成人。

报告摘要：The Ricci flow is a useful tool to understand the geometry and topology of manifolds. In this talk, I will give a survey to the theory and report some recent applicationcs to the classification of four-dimensional manifolds with positive curvature.
