Billiard models, averaging, and transport problems
In this talk I will present billiard models that arise in certain modelsof interacting particle systems. The aim of the talk will be to give an overview of existing results for various transport phenomena, and todescribe an averaging theorem for such hyperbolic systems withsingularities that allows to derive one such transport law.
