I will talk about three aspects of the dynamics of geodesic flows on rank 1 manifolds without focal points: (1) transitivity; (2) uniqueness of measures of maximal entropy; (3) mixing property of the geodesic flow w.r.t. the (unique) maximal entropy measure. This talk is based on joint works with Z. Feng, F. Wang, W. Wu and X. Zhu.
